My coaching approach combines evidence-based assessments and techniques with professional training and experience in psychology, human development and behavior change. I have completed rigorous training programs through Coaches Training Institute, The Leadership Circle Profile, as well as emotional intelligence assessments and the Enneagram. I provide professional, leadership and personal coaching to individuals and organizations from many disciplines across various industries. My Coaching Experience
Since 1996, I have supported professional and personal growth of others as a coach, consultant, counselor and mentor. Working in various fields and companies with individuals of all ages, I believe in gaining understanding, developing strategies for growth and change as well as maintaining sustainable balance is essential to thrive in an ever-changing, sometimes chaotic environment. My passion for helping people achieve their peak performance and mentally strength was shaped at a young age. Despite challenges and obstacles, I created goals to become an elite athlete against multiple odds. Coaching, skill building, psychology, resilience and determination supported me in achieving international ranking and a 16 year elite swimming career.
As an adult, my experience, education, and training in human development, organizational psychology, motivation and behavior change informs my practice. Obtaining degrees from University of Virginia and Columbia University and training in evidence-based approaches has been pivotal. For nearly 30 years, I have supported clients to realize their potential and achieve greater leadership, success and impact.
My work with clients has achieved results in various fields including medical and academic institutions, finance, businesses, mental health organizations, and law firms. I continue to expand my education, training and life long learning which informs my coaching practice. Sawyer Coaching dedicates time to create a roadmap for clients and support them propelling them towards their desired outcomes.

We can have a conversation to determine if my approach aligns with your needs before any contractual agreement.
